Chitrakonda: In a bid to successfully cope with malnutrition amongst youngsters and pregnant ladies, the Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment division has launched ‘Nutrition at Doorsteps’ initiative in Malkangiri Saturday.
Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment Minister Ranendra Pratap Swain inaugurated the challenge at Jantapai village beneath Chitrakonda block. A millets procurement centre was additionally opened at Jantri panchayat.
Nabarangpur MP Ramesh Chandra Majhi, Principal Secretary of the Agriculture Department Dr Arabinda Kumar Padhee, Director of Agriculture and Food Production Prem Chandra Chaudhary and Director of Horticulture Rohit Kumar Lenka amongst others have been current on the event.
