Mumbai: A 24-year-old man was arrested lately for allegedly issuing a medical health certificates by which he solid a physician’s handwriting and signature after issuing case papers (a kind to provoke any motion in authorities medical centres) in KEM Hospital. The accused is recognized as Kashinath Shrivardhankar.
As per the police, Dipesh Zhalte – a Malad resident – utilized for his deceased mom’s job within the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). In the primary week of January, he visited the KEM Hospital for a health certificates and met Shrivardhankar.
The accused instructed Zhalte that getting a health certificates is a protracted course of and he would take not less than 4 months to finish the method. However, he promised to offer him a certificates in a day if he would pay him. The accused took ₹2,500 from Zhalte and made a pretend health certificates in his title by forging the signature of the involved physician, Jitendra Pawar, senior inspector of the Bhoiwada police station stated.
On January 11, Surekha Kadam, a medical document technician within the KEM Hospital, filed a dishonest and forgery case. She was in control of the medical document officer on January 9, states the criticism. Deputy superintendent Dr Chetana Kantharia and Dr Santosh Salagare from the medication division known as Kadam and one other individual Rajendra Kamble and began inquiring about Shrivardhankar.
The hospital authorities then unearthed that the accused had given solid paperwork to Zhalte.
