Morgan Feeney hands Carlisle United welcome fitness boost

Captain Morgan Feeney has given Carlisle United a lift by returning to full health.

Paul Simpson stated the defender, again from a hamstring damage, would have been able to face Barrow right now.

While United’s conflict with their fellow Cumbrians was postponed, the return of Feeney for the Blues’ different December fixtures restores one among Simpson’s most influential gamers to competition.

Feeney had suffered the damage in United’s 4-1 victory at Salford City three weeks in the past.

The 23-year-old former Everton and Sunderland man will now goal a first-team comeback at Northampton Town subsequent Saturday.
