The Nedumangad block panchayat has rolled out a mannequin ‘diet backyard’ challenge to make sure wholesome and nutritious meals to each particular person. The challenge is meant to extend the manufacturing of nutritious meals merchandise and improve acceptability for natural farming strategies.

Grafted saplings of moringa, ivy gourd, ‘mullathi,’ and papaya are being supplied as a part of the challenge. The saplings are being produced on the Jaivagramam sapling manufacturing centres underneath the block panchayat.
