A 42-year-old man was sentenced to 48 years in jail for a lethal capturing exterior a health retailer in October 2019.
“There’s nothing inside my energy to restore the ache of a mom or the sufferer’s household,” Judge Vince Vigil stated through the sentencing listening to, in response to a Thursday information launch from Weld County District Attorney’s Office. “I can’t assist them heal. In October 2019, Gonzalez-Quezada, 42, shot and killed 24-year-old Gilberto Marron, who was situated within the backseat of the defendant’s spouse’s automobile, exterior the sixteenth Street Gym in Greeley.
Gonzalez-Quezada was convicted by a jury in May of second-degree homicide and reckless endangerment.
