YMCA of the Fox Cities buys Valley Fitness & Racquet in Fox Crossing

APPLETON – The YMCA of the Fox Cities is increasing to a sixth location after its current acquisition of Valley Fitness & Racquet in Fox Crossing. 

The new location can be named the Ogden Family YMCA Fitness & Tennis Center in honor of the household’s donation and dedication to make the acquisition attainable, in response to a Thursday information launch. The location will home indoor tennis courts, pickleball and the Warrior Training Center.

In an announcement, Max Ogden mentioned his household could be very proud to assist the YMCA of the Fox Cities increase.

Bill Breider, the YMCA of the Fox Cities’ president and CEO, mentioned the group is “extraordinarily grateful” to the Ogden household for his or her donation and management “to make sure the sustainability of this facility for generations to return.” 

“We are excited to welcome the workers groups, members and contributors of Valley Fitness & Racquet to the YMCA household,” Breider mentioned within the launch. “We sit up for implementing greatest practices from each organizations.”

Starting in August, present members could have entry to the brand new location, in addition to the 5 present amenities — Apple Creek YMCA, Appleton YMCA, Fox West YMCA, Heart of the Valley YMCA and Neenah-Menasha YMCA — with no change in membership charges.
