Two more women die after taking ‘nutrition’ tablet, two held

The Erode district police on Sunday arrested two individuals in reference to the homicide of three ladies, who have been provided toxic substance beneath the pretext of ‘vitamin’ tablets close to Chennimalai.

According to the police, the deceased have been recognized as Mallika (55), her daughter Deepa (30) and their farm employee Kuppammal (65). Karupanna Gounder, Mallika’s husband is beneath therapy at a non-public hospital in Coimbatore, police stated.

According to the police, Kalyanasundaram and Karupanna Gounder had monetary disputes and Kalyanasundaram used Bodesh Kumar to supply toxic tablets to the household. Police are investigating.
